Eva wasn't trying to get out of her crib or anything but we decided that since she's almost 3, it was time to get her out of the crib and it seemed like doing it over Kira's winter break was a good idea in case it wasn't a smooth transition.
She like to play it but wasn't convinced that she was going to sleep in it. The first night she woke up a few times crying, "Where am I?" but over all she's done pretty good.
What's cute is that when she wakes up in the morning, she still waits for us and if we go in to get her, she stands up and holds her arms up, like she did in the crib! :-) She knows how to crawl in and out but as long as she's happy waiting, I'm not going to encourage her to get out whenever she wants, that's for sure!
