The Easter Bunny heard that we were going to be in Iowa over Easter so he came on Thursday night. Dylan got up and managed to find his basket that I THOUGHT I had hidden enough and came running back to our room all excited about his new monster trucks. I managed to get the basket so that he didn't get through the whole thing before the girls got up! Stinker....he was excited though! :-)
Of course, Eva decided to sleep in on Friday so by 8:00 I had to cave and let K and D look at their baskets just so they didn't drive me crazy!
Kira was excited to get a new Junie B Jones book, some Snack Taxi's that she can decorate herself and a butterfly garden. Dylan loved his monster truck and he got a new monster truck lunch box!

Eva was a CRAB when she finally did get up and didn't want anything to do with her basket. She eventually came around but would only look at it on my bed....ahhhhh, 3 year olds!!
Peeps rice crispy treat for breakfast...why the heck not?
On Saturday the kids could not wait to do an easter egg hunt! Their cousins, David and Anna helped hide the eggs. Eva was sooooo excited about it this year and wasted no time finding plenty of eggs!!
We "hid" around 60 eggs. We did a lot of them outside but since it was starting rain, David and Anna also hid some in Grandma and Grandpa's basement!
They had a great weekend!
