They ALL were on the nice list!

Kira and Dylan could hardly stand it on Christmas morning!!  They could not wait to see what Santa had brought them and waiting for all of us to be ready was torture!!!  It was so fun to see them so excited this year.  When we finished looking at their stockings Dylan said, "I want another stocking!"  He was determined that the fun was not over yet!

After all the excitement ended, Grandpa VK made pancakes and eggs fro breakfast and both kids proceeded to inhale more breakfast than I have seen them eat in a long time.  It was a quiet day since we weren't heading to Story City due to the weather....it didn't really feel like Christmas to any of us.  At bedtime, Kira asked me if it was Christmas and then told me that it sure didn't feel like it since she didn't get to open presents!  Luckily, she understood that presents would happen on Saturday but I do see how that was a little disappointing for her...darn weather!!!
