Kira said that she had a great birthday! She had a fun day at school and took banana chocolate chip muffins to share with her friends. She was very excited to share one with her teachers from last year too.
We went to Laredo's for her birthday dinner....her choice. Dylan and Kira INHALED the cheese dip like I have never seen them eat anything....Jason and I feared for our fingers if we dared take a bite.
When we got home she couldn't wait to open presents and have cake. She was sooo excited about her pink and purple birthday cake complete with butterflies! Thank goodness Mommy has talented friends!! :-)
We ended the evening with a phone call from Grandma and Grandpa VK and Skype with Eema and Bumpa! She is now counting the days until her birthday party at the Children's Museum and is excited to "share" the party with Eva who turns 2 in a month! (YIKES!!)
