Kira's going to have a lot of changes coming up in the next few months...new ankle braces with pretty pink and purple butterflies that will hopefully decrease her knee and leg pain by aligning things better and a new wheelchair that will sport a pretty pink frame and light up wheels (and if insurance won't cover them, she's still getting them....gotta make it fun!) These are both changes for better but will without a doubt cause some anxiety for Miss Kira...as most change does these days. It will take some convincing on our part for her to believe that these are both for the best.
We're also changing some medications for Kira.....the medications that we are using right now are very sensitive and increases (as well as decreases) must be done slowly or things can get out of control. This change is taking the most patience on my part....I want to see results NOW but only time will tell if we are even on the right med. Patience...have patience!!
