I talked to the allergist nurse several times this afternoon.....they are very concerned about Eva's reactions and the fact that we have no idea what is causing them. You know it's not a good thing when the nurse says, "Oh my gosh. That's not good!" when you are explaining what is happening. They decided to keep Eva's original appointment for May 3rd but in the mean time she is back on reflux meds since a lot of times allergies and reflux go hand in hand. She is also on Zyertec for allergies to see if that makes any difference at all. We'll talk about that at her appointment on the 3rd. (Mental note to self: Be sure to have them fax the rx to the mail order place that our insurance requires us to use if she is going to stay on it!...or pay big bucks!) If she has another reaction this weekend that causes us to use the Epi-Pen, we have to take her to the ER....please no trips to the ER, please no trips to the ER, please no trips to the ER!! We are also keeping a very detailed food journal between now and her appointment to show the doctor......
And after a stressful day the got the kids Culver's custard and Mommy a smoothie...do you think Dylan enjoyed his??
